Marking differs from personalization in that the items being marked are rarely designed with marking in mind and instead of designating personal ownership, it is simply a method of identifying a specific item or part and is often industry related. For instance, it is essential to have medical tools and equipment marked with an ID number. Since each tool is given a unique ID, it is not something that can easily be done during manufacturing and is therefore up to the hospital (for instance) to take care of.

Both laser and rotary engraving make permanent marking on metal and other materials a reality in slightly different ways. Show us what you need to have marked and we can recommend the best method.
